Cutting the long story short, the application closing date is two weeks from today – the 22nd of September. For South Australian RTOs, it’s time to get going.
If you’re going apply, it’s time to start writing now.
The applications normally happen in the beginning of the year, but due to changes from the Commonwealth government, this round of applications are happening right now.
It’s not just that though, it will also be a 6 month funding pool and a 6 month process. Deliverables will be due at the end of April. Given that there is a lot of downtime for RTOs, TAFEs and schools over December / January, you might want to keep the projects short and sweet. The main thing will be showing that whatever you plan to do is clearly achievable within those few months.
As always, the people to talk to about the application and the process, are the team at the SA Framework Unit of the Australian Flexible Learning Framework. In particular, Douglas Purcell or Marlene Manto.
Of course, if you’re looking for a technical partner, there’s always a brightcookie willing to help.
While this info session was for South Australian RTOs, the funding is available in each State of Australia. For more, information visit the Australian Flexible Learning Framework for your State:
