Hosting Facilities

Each of our server centres has redundant UPS systems, generator backup, closed circuit monitoring, card key access, 24-hour guards and redundant a/c systems. You can rest assured your site is being well taken care of.

Australia (Melbourne)

Our servers are located in a purpose-built communication infrastructure facility in the Melbourne central business district. All aspects of the operations are monitored and managed 24 x 7. Power is provided to the building via dual feeds from the local power substation. A roof mounted diesel generator provides backup power. The generator will run for approximately 12 hours if power is not restored.

The facility also provides UPS backup to provide power during an outage to cover the time it takes to bring the diesel generator on-line. The UPS uses a redundant, modular design and incorporates a static switch. The UPS can be serviced, have modules added or replaced and can be taken off-line. Two independent circuits are used to deliver power from the UPS to our equipment. Each server is fitted with dual hot-swap power supplies.

Air-conditioning

The air-conditioning system maintains the temperature in all equipment areas and is a multi-redundant system. A number of individual air conditioning units operate in tandem to provide appropriate cooling, with two units on stand-by. The system is fully automated with extra cooling capacity being brought on-line as needed.

Fire Protection

The site is protected by fully monitored thermal sensors and smoke detectors located on the ceiling and in the under floor space.

Internet Connectivity

Internet access is provided via a 100 MB direct connection with a second 100 MB physical path on standby. Standby routers and switches are also in place.

Europe (London, UK)

The UK-based server centre we use is located just outside of London and it operates a Cisco and Extreme Networks powered network. It has access to a 20Gbit network. The server centre is staffed 24x7 and has diesel generator UPSs.

America Dallas, TX (United States)

The Dallas-based server centre provides the cheapest bandwith cost of all of our server centres. So if you are looking for large bandwith hosting at affordable rates, this would be an option. They run a Cisco networking environment. The server centre is staffed 24x7 and has diesel generator UPSs.
