Get some action in your Moodle

October 14, 2010Leo GagglLearning management systems

In creating engaging online learning environments where learners are stirred up to go out and apply knowledge, content is only part of the picture.  Your content might be delivering knowledge effectively — but what are your learners going to do about it?

This presentation from UK educator Sandra Pires provides tips from several teachers on how to stir up some action in your Moodle.  It might be a bit schools focused, but the tips and tools can apply across the sectors.

Once you’ve gone through the slides, take some action by leaving a comment as to what you’d like to try or share one of your action tips.

My favourite Moodle tools for stirring up action and opening up communication? Discussion forums and online classrooms like rHub and dimdim.
